Hi guys. Sorry if this isn't allowed I'm new to this. I was wondering if someone could help me identify this knife I've looked for days and I cannot find it. I know that it is a case peanut, but I'm not sure what the exact model is. Thank you all.

Looks like a Case Peanut 6220. Not sure of the bone color on that, but a pretty nice little knife. Very popular in the Traditional forum.

Agree.
You should be able to see the model number on the tang of the pen blade. Here's an example on a stag Peanut, so the number starts with "5" instead of "6". The "SS" indicates stainless steel blades (carbon steel blades would have "CV" for Chrome Vanadium).

I vaguely recall their line of "Apple something " bone...appleyard, apple peel ?

I googled apple green bone, and Case made some models with that color, but I didn't see a peanut. I did see a Bermuda green bone one. They may have made the peanut in apple green, though.... the tang number might help, but it's usually generic, naming type of handle and model number, as 5K Qs said...

If you had the original box, there should be a model number on that, that would likely help.

That's a good looking peanut, for sure. That doesn't look quite right for hunter green to me, but there can be so much variation it's difficult to tell from one example. It kind of reminds me of "deep canyon jigged calypso bone" but I'm pretty sure it's not that. The only example I have of DCJCB doesn't have a shield. You may just have to do a lot more searching if you want to positively identify the color. When I bought my DCJCB muskrat I was puzzled, asked around, got various answers, searched for "green case knife," etc. and finally identified it. Sure would be nice if someone could put together an inventory of all the present and discontinued Case bone colors and jigging!
