I have a knife made by Jimmy Lile that I purchased around 1980.
It is an engraved folder that looks like the “Gents folder” that came with the Lile “First Blood” Rambo knives but this one is engraved on both sides. The overall length when opened is 5 1/16 of an inch and about 3 inches when closed the width is about 5/8 of an inch at the widest point. It is stamped LILE at the base of the blade there is no serial number or other markings
except for the engravings.

I have not been able to find any information on this particular knife and was hoping someone could give me some information about it.

Below is a link to a photo, thank you for your help, Buddy

Mr. Lile had been selling the "Gents Folder" with stainless steel handle.
(I bought two directly from Mr. Lile.)
I think that someone bought it, and engraved.

I also had original "First Blood" knife.
And the "Gents Folder" in the hollow handle of "First Blood" is aluminum handle.

I too would have thought this had been bought and engraved if I had bought
this from a gun show or an individual, but I bought this from a high end gun & knife store
that did not sell used knives. I bought several Liles, Randell's, A.G. Russell's, and others from this store. I do believe this one is stainless. I paid $145.00 around 1980 for it.

Thanks, Buddy
