Ok, so i've come across a dilemma, i want to buy a SAK for my keychain, but can't decide between the midnite miichamp, and the classic sd alox!!! The a lox is thinner, but has less tools, and the mini has way more tools, but has the plastic scales and is a bit thicker.....opinions please? And maybe pics of keychains w/ em if possible???

Why not go for the Alox Minichamp.

Not my picture.

Get 'em both and see witch one you like best. Hey, these are SAK's, not expensive items, and you're gonna end up with a small collection of them anyways. Doesn't everyone have a small collection of SAK's to choose from? :D

It generally happens that way. ;)

I just got this alox Rambler from Swiss Bianco and so far I'm loving it. I didn't have any pictures yet so I just took one real quick so forgive the poor quality.

You may want to expand your consideration to Leatherman. I've owned many Victorinox Classics and the Leatherman PS4 Squirt but by far, my favorite key chain tool is the Leatherman Micra.

I much prefer the larger tougher scissors to the smaller Classic/Squirt sized scissors. (YMMV).
I don't need a toothpick. (YMMV)

Lastly, I've the best place for a keychain tool FOR ME is in my left-front pocket. I use it a lot more and when I do, it doesn't have the keys banging around. Minimally, I would look for a micro-sized clip to remove from a key ring easily.

If I had to own a Victorinox product, the Alox Minichamp would probably be the one. Maybe when my Micra wears out!!!

Manager or Rambler. The magnetic tip 3d philips is a worth it by it self. Fits the battery case of any toy, tool or electronic device and is still just big and sturdy enough for non-microscopic tasks. The bottleopener on the same blade is also a one-pull-only once you understand where to pull, ists genius.

Don´t worry so much about the thickness, in such a small light package you will not notice the difference in the pocket and the alox classic is almost too thin to grab.
The scissors are small but super sharp and can compensate for lach of size.

The minichamp is also great but the added tools from rambler/manager are less useful imho and mostly adds to price and weight.

Also in my opinion the key ring is on the right side if you use the knife and scissors the most.

Manager/Midnite Manager/Rambler - Great urban EDC items.

This is exactly how I've ended up carrying the Manager over the MiniChamp.
