i just bought a kissing crane 4 in yellow handle stockman - i am trying to find out how old it may be - and if it was made in germany by robert klaas cutlery - i am sorry i do not have pics yet but is has "robt klaas" with the cranes and "solingen germany" as a tang stamp and 31 is on the other side- it also has the shield shaped shield with the cranes in red -the box says "kissing cranes" rather than "crane"- and it is not one of those 175th year anniversary ones- it was sold as new old stock- and i hope it is but i am having a lot of trouble finding out to much about the "robert klaas cutlery"- can anyone please help???- oh -also both smaller blades are stamped with the cranes and "germany" underneath.

sorry -i forgot to ask also - i would think this would be carbon but does anyone know?- if they know about this knife?
