My klvuk has tang movement inside handle when using, is this a bad sign?
when i go to chop kindling, i can feel the tang moving back and forth in the handle.
what are your recommendations?

I think you'd have to pull the pommel cap. Another possibility-and it might or might not work-is to treat it as though you were going to actually remove the hilt, without actually filing off the peened section of the tang holding the pommel.
If you put the hilt in a strong plastic bag intended for boiling food in, and boil the hilt, the laha will soften. If it actually melts all the way it may fill in the area where the tang is moving.
Otherwise you may have to pull off at least the buttcap, so you can squirt some epoxy down in there.
The pommel removal job isn't too hard, but there are some tricks to getting it back together right.

Send the KLVUK back to HI and I will send the replacement one this week.
Sorry for the tang movement
