I hope I am not breaking any rules here with my post, but i am looking to identify xxx x xxxxx xxxxx xx a knife x xxxxx xxxx xx xxxx. It was purchased several years ago and is very lightly used. I couldn't find any scratches or marks on it, but it is not new and i dont want to portray it that way.

I believe its an Ash or some variant, but any help you guys could provide would be great. I also believe the sheath is a Mashed Cat sheath, but I wasn't able to verify that. I dont have any calipers to determine the thickness.

Here are a few photos:

I can post other photos if that would help.

Thanks.

I looks like a regular "Skinny ASH" sage blade natural "Mag" scales ,there are a few for sale now in the "for sale" area. A nice knife to be sure ,I love mine.

The brain is spot on.

Looking at the recent sales (hope I am not out of line) $350 with the sheath and it will sell asap... $400 it will hand around a bit.

I of course am looking for a skinny one to go with my fat one.... :)

Both are spot on.

I would say price is about right also.

I paid around that for mine but at the time that was a great price ,between $350 and $400 with a sheath and depending on color combo and sheath type.

You know the more I look at that knife I think it must be a fake and you should send it to me so I can send it out to the lab and find out who made it ;)

......more appropriately done at an independent testing facility in AUSTRALIA I believe.... ;

Sorry to tell you, but only Gold level members are allowed to ask these questions.

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...MBERS-Please-read-this-WHAT-IS-MY-KNIFE-WORTH

resinguy is correct...

From Bladeforums rules:

WHAT IS MY KNIFE / GADGET / SPATULA / TUNING FORK WORTH ?!?!?!?!

In order to curtail potential abuse of membership privileges associated with the forums, questions regarding valuation of knives and collections are limited to those with a membership level which permits selling on this site. Accordingly, registered and basic members may not start or post in threads with such requests whether with the intent to sell or for informational purposes only. This rule applies throughout the site.

In other words, without a paid Gold membership, you don't get to ask about sale values. Too many people abused this question to hint they had a knife for sale, which you need that membership for.

FYI, to me it does look like a Skinny ASH-1, which are 3/16" thick at the spine.
