I noticed that one of my college profs had a folder clipped to his pocket today. I've noticed him carrying a SS Delica before, but this one was different.

It was a steel (or possible ti, but i don't think so) tip-down carry framelock. From what I could see the overall design was similar to the Camillus EDC with the bare skeletonized handles, but it looked to be a bit bigger. The most unique part of it was the pocket clip. It was a rectangular steel design, but it had a series of slots running almost all the way accross it vertically. This resulted in alternating bands of steel and space with thin bars at either end. It's tough to describe, so let me know if this isn't good enough.

I'm fairly well versed in the product lines of the various manufacturers, and this knife did not look like anything that I am aware of. I suppose it could be a cheapie, but I don't think so.

Any suggestions as to what knife this might be?

Is there a reason why you can't ask HIM what knife it is?

If it looked like the EDC it may be an Outdoor Edge Paragee. There's another possibility that I can't remember at the moment...

Nevermind--I just checked and the Paragee doesn't have any slots in the clip.

It could have been either a CRKT KISS folder or a Sampson's KISS. They both have slotted pocket clips. The S&Ws would be my next guess.
