I'm trying to determine what model this is , and an approximate value .
traded for it at a show some years back ( I like blue) and I'm never going to carry it. 2015 on the ricasso on other side. seems like it's in good condition , the bolsters show a little wear, blade is perfect as far as I can see. seems hard to pull the blade out, but the only thing I have to compare it to is a swiss army knife. thanks for any inputPXL_20220107_161106976.NIGHT.jpg

Looks like a Northwoods Indian River Jack. I would hold onto it if I were you but you can check the big auction site for previous sales of similar models. They are not cheap

Just FYI, don't entertain any offers for it until you get a couple independent evaluations from others who have no interest in buying it....and as you have posted the knife and the question, you will probably get lowball offers from people hoping to buy it cheap before you can figure out what it is..........

If the pull is tough (better than weak and limp any day) try oiling it and working it a bit, you could be surprised by the pleasant result .

Bolsters can be cleaned with metal polish or better, a leather strop.

I've not owned this type of Northwoods, I assume it was made by GEC under the stewardship of KSF due to the shield and I believe the use of Camel Bone. Does it have a box/tube or sheath? These types of knives are CURRENTLY sought after so you should expect a very tidy sum. However, knife fashions can and do change.

thanks for your input, no tube but it has a ksf/ Northwoods leather slip.

I thought the 2015 Indian River Jacks were made by Queen. Either way, heck of a knife you have there.

I apologize because I know this i a very old thread but i have one of these on my radar.
The one i'm after just like the OP.
How much do these go for these days?

You might want to refresh yourself with the rules. Bringing up an old thread to ask about evaluation of a knife without a paid membership at the appropriate level is not allowed. I’m sure you meant well and are not doing it nefariously. Wish you well.

The advice given here still applies though. Check the big auction site for completed auctions.
