Need help with making a holster

I'm trying to make a kydex shoulder holster, but I'm hung up on one thing:

What is the name of these D-shaped loops on the top of the holsters, that attach to the webbing?

D rings, you can get them at most any farm supply or for black ones either paint or order them in black.

So, I just put the D ring in between my kydex sheets and then put the rivet in?
Won't this create too much 'give' for my sidearm, allowing it to slip out?

they are not D rings and you do not put them between the kydex you conect them with a chicago screw to the kydex through the eyelet...there are very few places you can buy them from, your best bet is
go on Ebay and plug: ITW NEXUS Bottom Strap Grommet 619-1100 ...they will come up
they are sold by 10 and it`s the cheapest i have found them so far, i have some for the shoulder rig i am going to make....some day

google is your friend...i`ve spend few hours searching when i wanted to find stuff for the shoulder rig , and i did found few sites , you going to have to wade through the listings for your specific item...
