Need help with more identification Please...

My late husband had this knife but I don't have the box.

It says Benchmade Emerson Spec War Model CQC7. No other numbers.

Can anybody help with more of an ID on this knife. I think he bought it in the early 90's, but I'm really not sure.
What is a 970P? I saw this on eBay.

Essentially you have a really old Benchmade model 970 that was designed by Earnest Emerson, before he had his own company. It's his CQC 7 design, built by Benchmade under the model number 970. I can't tell from your pictures, does it say "Bali-Song" in the butterfly?
