Need help with my late fathers fairbain-sykes fighting knife?

Hello there, I'm new here and if i have posted this in the wrong section i do apologise. My father not long ago pasted away, i have found what i believe to be a british fairbain sykes fighting knife. i no absolutey nothing about knifes hence why I'm here. i would really appreciate it anyone could come forward with a bit more information about this knife like the year, is it real?, is it a fairbain-sykes etc. i have attached some photos. Thank you.

Ive never seen the markings on the handle before and my FS certainly dont have those but Im looking at the pics on my phone, so cant say for sure and anyway, Im no ekspert on these.

Somebody who knows will be along.
 
The handle it's cast, looks like zamak, the but it's just a nut...I believe that it's a Asian copy .

IMHO, it's a post war commando knife.
Hopefully someone more qualified
might be able to estimate its vintage...

Op's 3rd pattern IS brass, btw.
And the fact that it isn't zinc alloy
Makes it an early post war thingy.
Also, I spotted the sheath in op's last set of pictures
Which is not the standard military commando version...
