Need help with neoprene handles

I have a customer who wants neoprene rubber
handle scales on his knife.

What I would like to know is what type of adhesive is the best for attaching the scales?

Are micarta pins the best pin?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I had the same request from a customer about two years ago. I happened to run into Bud Neally at show, he had several knives with neoprem scales. He was kind enough to tell me how he did it. He uses a special type of contact cement. Which I can't recall at this time. However I'm sure if you give him a call
he would give you that information. You can find his number in the Blade 2000 book. Hope this helps. Mike.
