Hello all,
I walked into one of my favorite gear outfitters today and was glad to discover that the Nimravus Cub is back in production, as the Nimravus Cub II. I have one of the originals and have been hoping they'd bring it back ever since they discontinued it a couple years ago, so of course I purchased this one. I love it, same basic knife, but a little lighter, about .15 inch shorter in blade length, and the handle is made of some new plastic/synthetic called Nylor. Not super jazzed about a plastic handle, but hey, I love the knife otherwise. What I don't like is the sheath. I can't for the life of me figure out how it's supposed to snap together without the Malice clip and work as a regular belt sheath. I suppose it's supposed to be idiot resistant, but if that's the case then I'm a genius. Help me out here, please, somebody. Does anyone know how to make the sheath work for us civilian types? Thanks in advance.
