I just bought a Remington R2 Waterfowl knife from a dealer who had one of the older models still in his stock room. It is basically the same as shown in the link except mine has the original style "Remington UMC" medallion and mine is made in the USA.
The problem is that most of the blades are so stiff and hard to open that I injure my hands trying to open them or else I need to use another tool to get them open and in that case, I might scratch up the new knife. How can I loosen up the blades and make them easier to operate without harming the knife?
