I have an old Remmington double folder and noticed recently that the main blades' is locking loosely and can be easily unlock. Is there anyway I can fix this?

If you haven't already checked it I'd suggest you check the blade notch for pocket lint. That would be the first thing I'd check over. Take a small dental probe or leather punch off another folder and see if there is anything in there that shouldn't be. Also check the inside of the folder for lint and gritty looking debris. If there blast it out and clean it up.

No there's no lint or girt in the knife. I keep my knives cleaned and well oiled. I noticed a metal bar that's not moving in my secondary blade and moving in my primary, so I got a hammer and a hex key small enough to fit in the gap and gave it a few hits. I tested the lock and it seemed to fix it a little. I think I need to weld that down.
