Need help with Repost / Price Reductions...Please

Hi guys. I'm having trouble getting my Repost / Price Reductions to move back to the front page.
I have several blades out there (from months ago) that I have edited and reduced the price, but they are still lingering 30 or 40 pages back.
I see it all the time, and am wondering where I am going wrong...Certainly something I am missing...not really tech-savvy.

Any advice you can give will be much appreciated.

Commenting on a post or updating a post in "For Sale" threads will not bump the thread to the front page. You would need to close the thread and create a new listing.
 
You know, I thought that might be the case.
Certainly wasn't trying to break any rules...I know you have to wait 2 weeks...the lazy in me was just hoping for simplicity.
I actually put in a request through the site's "Contact Us" thing, but never heard back.

So, please forgive me...are closing and locking the same thing?
All I see for options are editing, locking, and creating a poll...
 
Bill, don't worry about it. You don't need to edit your old thread. Lock it if you wish to prevent further comments. Just go ahead and post a new sale thread.

You can relist after two weeks if it doesn't sell. Lock, rinse, repeat.

I just assumed the desire to remove the clutter of having several postings (obviously pages and pages apart) of the same blades.
Locking comments is trivial, but now I know to just start a new one after the 2 weeks if it doesn't move.
