need help with some esee choices

Trying to decide between an ls and a 4. Had decided on a 6 but then found out I cant have a blade over 6 inches total so its back to the drawing board again.
Also I read in another thread that esee is going to make a stainless version of the 4 is there any set release date for this and does anyone know what type of steel they will be using.

The izula is a great fixed blade but its pretty small in the hand. ( Izula 2 should fix that prob. with a larger handle) The 4 is the perfect size for me. Its a great all around size and is not too bulky on the hip. If your only ganna get one id get the 4. Or you can be like me and get both and slap them together.

I love my ESEE-4. I don't have any experience with the LS, but it looks like a fine knife as well.
 
I believe the stainless 4 will be made from 440C.If it has a Rowen heat treat it will be great.

I already own an izula and which ever of the 2 i get the 4 or the ls i am planning on doing exactly what you did and strapping them together :).
I would love to see a 440 version of the 4 then my choice would be much easier but as it is im torn. I like the extra blade length of the ls (would get a 5 if it didnt weigh a freaking pound) but i like the blade style of the 4. I wish i could simply get them both but money doesnt allow that at this time.
