Need help with valuation of a Bill Luckett Knife, Pics Be Here.

Hi folks.
I all ready checked out Bills website, this particular model is not shown on his website, fella that owns the knife says it should be valued at around $500.00. He's wanting to trade it to me...
Your thoughts about this would be appreciated. My basic question would be, do you figure this knife should bring $500.00?
