Need help with value of a knife

A guy I work with has offered me a Busse SH-E that is in very good shape. It is a standard model with the black finish and green kydex lined sheath. The knife has been sharpened, but shows little wear and is shaving sharp. What is a fair price for this knife?

Nice snag Jimmy! Under $450 for a user BM-E is pretty good, as for the markings the dealer made me laugh with the "possible prototype markings".
 
I want to meet the goober who scratched that junk on that BM-E, so I can bitch slap him. I'm as big a dork as the next guy, but come on! Who has the money and taste to buy that nice of a knife, and then writes in "elvish" on it. I have good money that says whoever did that speaks fluent Klingon.

What a tool.

then pawned for a 12 pack of PBR:D

Under $450 delivered :D, yeah the "proto" :rolleyes: markings line got me too, but hey, they dedicated 4 pictures to highlight the runes, must be true.

Maybe the elves were snoozin' and this one.
 
I agree with the guys above --- 400 would be a really good deal, 450 is reasonable.

i thought it looked like gang tagging. but i havent played dungeons and dragons since i was about 10, so im no expert on that.

I see two Tyr runes. :)

BTW: I agree with what others have said regarding pricing. The Steel Heart Ergo is one of those knives I regret selling.

Figured I'd just use it and wait for the marks to go bye-bye with the coating.

It's not like I don't already have a mint BM-E ;):foot: ...............
 
WOW, this thing's damn near mint, other than the graffiti (banned smiley);).

Coating doesn't even show sheath wear there's some sharpy on the assym side, looks like someone polished it on an edgepro.

Sorry Kevin, looks like you thread got hijacked, for your original question, I checked my list, I payed $400 for the last SH-E user.
