Need help!

I need some comparisons and opinions comparing the ZT301 to the ZT561

I like both equally but I want to test the waters and see what you guys feel is the superior knife even if by only a little. I would like serious critiques pointing out any flaws in both knives

it would be great if any of you have or do own both
 
I own both, both awesome folders. I probably prefer the 0301 just becasue its a beast but I love the flipper on the 0561. Can't really go wrong with either.
 
I haven't owned a 301 but I have had various 0350's, 0550's, 0551, 0561 and have been happy with all of them.
I prefer the 0350 or 0550 as they aren't as heavy, thick and bulky.
Note that the 301 weighs 8 oz, and the 561 is only 5.8 oz. That's quite a difference.
If you need SERIOUS heavy-duty, get the 301. A fun flipper that's lighter, the 561. My opinion.
Would be good if you could handle both first, before you buy.
 
I only own a 0561 but can say its the smoothest framelock I have ever owned hands down. I dont like assisted opening thats why I wont pick up the 030x... But if thats what your into you may like it better... I say get both really lol...
 
well I'm asking because the 301 is big and bulky and I love overbuilt folders and being 6 foot 5 inches what would be considered big and bulky for most isn't for me

and my pops is considering the 561 since the 301 is to big for him
 
He might want to take a peek at the 0350 its a smaller version of the 300 series nice folder. I just got one today... still like the 0561 better though some think its rather large...
 
so I ordered the 301 but lord help me if I wasn't tempted to get the 300 black wash but I went with the 301 for the green and tiger stripeing which are two things I lack in my collection
 
I've had both. I still have my 561 and like it alot. I've owned 2 301s. One i owned for an hour and the last one less then a week. They a built extremely well but they are heavy! They are also bulky and take up alot of pocket space. I'm also not in love with assisted openers. I broke a torsion bar in a 350 once. Good luck!

I think you will be very pleased I have yet to get the ts cause the beadblast finish But it is attractive. I wish they could do TS with a stonewash/black stripes that I would grab asap;)

I get what your saying but I'm a pretty big dude and large folders like the BM adamas or onslaught or the CRKT natural fit well with me and it being assisted wasn't a deal breaker but it is a nice plus. and the torsion bar thing does have me worried
 
I have had both but only still have the 0561 . I think the 301 is a great knife but I just prefer the 0561 more.
