How would you get tape residue of the blade. I took the tape off the blade and now it is all sticky and is getting stuck onto the inside of the channel its frustrating.Important, any suggestions please give.

WD-40. Rubbing alcohol. Dish washing detergent. Or a piece of Duct Tape to tacky pull the residue of your blade.

For the real handymans there's a product called Goo Gone that works like magic all almost all adhesives.

Yeah, "Goo-gone !! It also removes labels in one piece and allows you to re-apply them after it dries --- good stuff. For general "sticky stuff" removal, Tony's right on -- WD-40 or, lighter fluid, nail polish remover, etc. You may want to wash the blade well, after using any of these things if you plan on using it for food preraration !! :)

Yeah, go with wd40, nail polish remover, hair spray, soapy warm water, or paint thinner, and don't forget to wash thoroughly.

When I remove labels/tape, I use a paint peeling dryer or a blow dryer on high. Then I use paint thinner to remove any excess glue.

I hate hate hate fumes, so I usually just scrape the blade with an x-acto, then wipe it on my jeans.

Yes, goo gone is great stuff. No fumes, smells like an orange.
Removes all kinds of stuff, like tree sap, wax, blood. It will even take the lipstick off your collar.

Goo-Gone is awesome stuff. I've personally never used it on a Balisong.., but it's certainly a good idea.

All the other stuff mentioned works fine too..
