Need help!

Howlin Rat - Little Mischief. HRLM to be short. It's the latest version of the Res-C handled Howlin Rat from the original Swamp Rat line.

Good knife. The choil needs work. It is neither big enuf to get a finger in, nor small enough to be insignificant. I chose to have it after-market widened. GREAT knife.

I will say this - it's like a mini SFNO in size and general shape. They aren't that popular and don't go for tons more than original purchase price. So if you are looking to buy it, you are probably gonna get a good deal on a great knife.

I'm surprised by Dennis' take b/c at the Scrap Yard and Swamp Rat sites, people rave about them. I have a Howling Rat 2nd Generation (res c and big choil) and love it! Have seen a couple go in the last few months for $150 + I think...I don't pay much attention to them cause I'm covered in that size. You can post in the wanted to buy section and see what happens... after I sell my Skinny Ash,I'm going there to find me a Battle Rat! ;)

So if you can give me more info about it and where can i buy one. Thank you!

All three of the Busse family companies make knives on limited runs, and there are only a few models of knife available at any given time. Since this is a previous model, the only way you'll be able to buy one is on the second hand market, or finding one at a gun or knife show. Your best bet is to look at the busse/swamp rat/scrap yard knives for sale section here on bladeforums and see if you can find the HRLM you want. Expect to pay more than the original retail price - since there are limited numbers of these knives, the prices usually go up on the second hand market.
