need history information...

Would you get bummed if I bidded on it? ;)

The box displayed in the main image says Western (in the diamond) followed by "Hand Crafted in the U.S.A." Is that really a Buck 110, or did Western maybe have a contract with Buck to make 110s for them?

humm yes i seen that it said western on the box which told me little....
Sure go anead and bid on it i will not bid over 15$ if that, and i expect it to go for about 40$ as the last one i seen with engraved bolsters: wellit went for 39$ .

once upon a time i could not see why a collector would sell anything nice from their collectin but now i can, as i also am triming mine...hard decisons at to which stay and which go!
 
Dave, I was just kidding. I wouldn't want to outbid my Buck Buddy, or take him out of the bidding by taking the price too high. I hope that you're the one with the winning bid!

oh ! y such a nice thought! i wont be bidding as i am triming my 'buck herd' so it will fit in a display i am bulding and thus haveing to make hard choices! as you can see from the one i have listed...
 
I took a look at the knife with the scroll work and it sure looks familiar. The best information i could find on it is that we had some samples done and this may be one of them. I know that is pretty vague and I apologize for that.
Dave, making a reference to a knife you are selling on Ebay is, I have been told, a no-no, so I have the task of asking you to "please don't do that anymore." :rolleyes:

so if i added one to my collection as a sample i would not have to say that it was after market? or at at least that it could be factory?

realy i should not be obsessed to much as to factory or not i guess and follow the advice i give out and "collect what appels to you" ...

OH-B K-B, i was not realy atempting to sell here( i know there is a sell fourm), it was only i could not resist the segway to referance to one of the 'odd' knifes i have and one that is one of jest 4 known, it is jest that it dont appell to me as others do so i am triming some out of my collection as i kinda want to change the nature of it a little ...
i will edit the other out and apolgise for steping out of bounds (done) ...which gives me a idear for a new thread!
