recently, i acquired this knife. in trying to do some research on it, i havent been able to find anything out about the maker of the knife or its age. i contacted j. bruce voyles who directed me to post it here. i am trying to find out about the knifes maker, when and where it was made, and possible value. the knife is an absolute gem and the pictures dont do it any justice at all. the light coloration on the blade ohotograph showing the makers name is just sunlight, not a discoloration or blade defect.

the maker etched on the blade is "Hatfield Knives"

yep, that is some nice rendition of raindrop damascus, and those pins just have "handmade" written all over them

like i said, the photographs dont do it any justice. quality is superb and its sharp as a razor. im not a big collector, but i do have a few customs, and try to read what i can when i can . personally i havent ever heard of "Hatfield Knive's". the guy i got it from said he bought it some years back at a gunshow in the sacramento california area is that helps any. i did a google on the maker and couldnt find a thing.

the guy did tell me that the scales were moose antler. i got it to put on my cowboy rig as the scales match my 45 colts grips kinda...lol
