need id on a dagger

i recently found a dagger sitting around in my house. damascus blade (may not be real damascus) says UC 445 SURGICAL STEEL JAPAN on one side of the tang, and i can't make out the logo on the other side. real bone inserts on the handle, brass guard, looks to say "silemer" etched onto the blade. 3.125 inch blade.
anybody got ny ideas to what this is/how much it's worth?
