would like to see some Dundee carry versions in leather if there are any...

Have a very big Bowie coming and thinking that'll be the best way to carry it

Like this? Traditional Dundee, like in the movie:

or, the diagonal across the back, not so closely attributed with this Dundee name?

Sorry for the different photo types, one is from my site and the other is getting formatted soon for the site. :o

the big pic at the bottom leaves me clueless...

how would one draw the knife?

the smaller pics are more what i'm looking at doing although it looks to be more complicated than it needs to in my opinion

I had found these pictures in a google search myself, are there any others in leather that i missed?

id have to agree with you the small pic, shoe the handel down were it could be pulled out wen carrying the handel up would be bestfor traviling to your camp ore hunt sight

The nice thing about the diagonal is its free to move to the front for removal/insertion, and just as easy to move it back into place. :) I dont recommend trying either from the back, just asking for a mishap. The one main advantage of this carry is to get it out of the way.

The traditional Dundee is a bit more tricky, first its upside down already which starts a whole path of interesting possibilities if the knife should slip from your grip during removal/insertion. They never did show how Mick got that monster back in its sheath. Not sure about it being too complex, the only safe simplifying I can see is to make it a standard belt loop instead of a dangler, but the removable dangler makes it easy to snap it on the belt without taking it off.
