Hi!
after I buyed a Mk IV and falled in love with the Chris Reeve's products, I now consider to buy a Shadow III to use it as EDC. One hand opening folder are prohibited in my country so a Sebenza is out of question...we can't even own such knives!
What do you guys think about the Shadow III? Any info?
thanks

I've found all the OPR to be great fixed blades. I'm not a big fan of round handles, but other than that they are great blades. I think in the size ranges, the big thing comes down to blade preference and which one is more suitable for your intended tasks.

If you can own/EDC fixed blades, I wouldn't even worry about folders. I would choose a fixed over a folder any day for EDC, but laws around here aren't always that friendly towards the fixed blades:(

It may be possible to order a Sebenza without a thumb stud. Its added at the time of assembly, so it could be deleted or you could maybe remove the stud your self?
The Shadow III is a great knife for the size!! Holds a good edge and sharpens easily. I like the spearpoint design. The round handle gives a good grip in any cutting position. I spent the extra $$ and bought a sheath for the Aviator and a Concealex for it for additional carry options.
Good Luck
guy
