I was told this dated from 1981. Pretty sweet 501 custom with yellow micarta and engraving.

Can anyone tell me how the engraving was done on this? By hand? or by some other method?
thanks!

Bad news..... there are three more. You have the Dall sheep, remaining are the Stone,Desert,Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep.
They were sold single or in a boxed set of four,
Etching on the blade was preformed by a machine operated by a man or woman.

HA ! I hear ya. I tend to just pick up stuff like this that I like- I actually did not know there were more (figures!)

I overheard an old guy at a knife show years ago give some good advise-- "ya can't get them ALL, believe me- I have tried and you just can't get them all"

Well I have tried also, and now my pocket hurts- so I am trying to heed the gentleman's good advice!

thanks! for the info.
