I have a 10.5" double edged Dagger that I figure is 30 years old at least. The blade is 6" and decorated in brow, green and gold ovals with different pictures of Elks. It is stamped
Fr. Plucker jr.
Solingen-gr
Rostrrei
The handle is a fully rounded stag with a flat rounded cap as a pommel, cross guards are Brass and it has a white shield with a red cross and says FREIBURG I.B. it also has the original sheith.
Any help would be appreciated as I dont collect fixed blades. I'm working on getting a picture Thanks Guys

All I can say for sure it is a German made knife, rostfrei is German for rust-free, not sure of the maker, did you do a search engine look? Amazing stuff you can find from dogpile or google.com.

Ahah! May be older than 30 years! Foud a reference to Freidrich Plucker jr. here.

look under m7/62 these are makers marks for mid '30s on, Third Reich related. If it is genuine you may have a WWII era knife on your hands.
Get a picture and take it to Bernard levines forum, he's THE expert on that type of thing!

Good luck!
