Stamped on Blade, : INOX Other side also on base of bade, "Super" over the word super is another word that ends in "er" but is worn away.

The knife is 31/4 inch long, metal handle stamped with what appears to be a soccer or volley ball on each end, both sides. There are some leaves lengthwise over and under the words 1960 Campeao.............Europeu 1961.
in between the words are an eagle over a shield and the sash on the shield has three letters on it.

Sorry, no pictures, I have tried to look this up but to no avail, although I will try to find out what I can to add more info.
It is my bosses knife, and I am getting ready to leave on vacation so I am just trying to get a little history and general worth. The blades are pretty much shot, so it is probably not worth much, if it ever had any value at all. Thanks for the help!

Portugese (the writing that is) could be commemorating the 1960/61 European Cup in soccer (football) which was won by the Portugese club Benfica. The final was in Berne Switzerland that year.

Spot on s-k!

The three letters are probably SLB Sport Lisboa Benfica and the badge is Benfica's with the eagle, they are often known as the Eagles being one of the Big Three in Portuguese football. They beat the Catalan club Barcelona in the 61 final. I've always been more of a Sporting fan where Portuguese football is concerned:D

Must have been a novelty/trophy knife celebrating their victory and it would be interesting to know WHERE this knife might have been made at the time. Japan? Or a cheapie from Sheffield?

Probably was made in the region of Benedita (NW from Lisbon) where there have been cutlery factories and artisans for many years. See:
