I just got a custom shop Busse FSH from a fellow collector. Can someone with more knowledge please explain the difference between the HHFSH,the HOGFSH and the FSH that I just bought. It is a beautiful knife, but boy am I confused with all the different versions that are available. Thanks for any help you can provide.

John has the basics. there are subtle differences with respect to to sabre grind or full height flat grind. Suffice to say that htee are many variants of the FSH.

Shoot me a pic and I can post it. Unless this is a stealth sale post, then we can't help you.

Hard to tell if that's 0.27" or thicker. Either way, it not a standard FSH. Some sort of 'Ganza or show special CS version.

The handle treatment is called G-rex, looks like Black G10, with Black/Blue G10.

If it's .25 with a saber --- it's a FSH/FSH Variant

If it's .27 with a saber --- it's likely a Custom Shop HHFSH

Either way ---- it's stunning

Also, please check out the Busse Bad Mojo site for lots of great info.

Any chance it's .320? If so, it may have been from the 2007 BloodBathaGanzaaaaa. The pattern on the handle's different, but I think there was more than one available.

3D = Fusion Steel Heart .320" thick blade Featuring G-Rex handle design with Black G-10 and Blue/Black G-10 handles. (Pic Below)

My son in law has a digital read out caliper. Its in his work shop at the moment. I will measure it as soon as I can. Many thanks to all of you for the great info. Stay tuned.

I just got the caliper. It measures out at .27. From all your excellent info, with the saber grind I assume its a Custom Shop HHFSH. Its great to know. Thanks guys.
