I recently saw this folder online and really like the asthetics and the axis lock but I can't seem to find a review on the knife. Anyone own or even used one? What do you guys think about this knife?

There's no cross forum posting allowed, but there is a Benchmade forum that has a knife review section.

Well, the 14205 is a tank. I own one and it's one of the smoothest Benchmades I've ever seen. Using open architecture via standoffs providing an easy to clean knife it's really good. The 154cm blade is thick at 0.150 and keeps an awesome edge. I like the G-10 scales, they're pretty grippy and the overall package is slim.

Even though it's got the HK markings on it and nothing saying 'Benchmade' anywhere, this is one of the best models they make...and if you like this one and prefer smaller knives, the 14210 is a gem.

Heck, get both, they make a great pair! :D

The 14205 is one of my all time favorite knives, and IMO the best design Benchmade ever produced.

Yup, the 14200 series really is one of the best lines they've come out with. The reason we don't hear much about it nowadays is because it's relatively old compared to all the other stuff constantly coming out of the industry. But with all of the new stuff, it remains as one of the best knives in it's price range and one of the best knives Benchmade has produced to date. It's tough, has great ergos and great aesthetics. You can't lose with it:

I've had 2, still have one, and it is an outstanding knife. It's one of my 3 fav BM products, along with the 14210 and the 950 Rift. It's very robust, and it can get very sharp. As mentioned above, the blade is fairly thick so it may not make the best slicer, but it's excellent for tougher jobs around my place.

Superb Knife and exceptional value in my opinion. That and the 710 are must have Benchmades.
My BM's less a Lum 760.

Looks like you've got the reviews you need, but in case you're still on the edge, I love the knife. I do actually carry the little brother more often, these are just great knives. STR wrote a review of one a few years back that made me pull the trigger on it. You might want to search the forums for that review. Hope this helps.

I have had 3 of them. They are one of the best knives BM makes. The blade is thick and can take alot of abuse.
