Need info on HP-620LX Handheld PC

Just bought an old Hewlett-Packard 620LX Handheld PC (using Windows CE) from a friend of mine who owns a second-hand store (watches, gadgets, etc.) The only use I am going to put it to is to make revisions on film and commercial scripts while I'm travelling (and don't want to bring my laptop). It uses Compact Flash cards for storage and I have lots of those.

Anyone here still using a 620LX or 680LX? Any user forums out there? It also came with a card modem - does that mean I could buy the correct cable and access my Hotmail account?

Any info would be greatly appeciated!
 
Hi--there's a couple of good pocket pc fora out there--I have been to pocketpcpassion.com, for example, and you can get answers to just about any questions you'd have there.

Thanks, John. I think I've surfed through that one. Will go back for another look.

(BTW, I do have a Sony Clie PEG-NR70V/U for daily "PDA-type" stuff; I want to use the HP just for script revisions because I can stuff as many CompactFlash cards in my pocket as I need for storage. Then, if I can also access my Hotmail account that would be a bonus!)
