NEED INFO ON PUMA BUDDY 6383 production start? Rigid original fixed blade question

Can anyone tell me when the first year production for the Puma Buddy 6383 was. The one I have, I was surprised to find was produced the third quarter of 1967. This was my father knife, and I inherited in 1993, put it in a box with a Rigid Sidewinder ( I think its a sidewinder) and forgot about them until recently. The Puma has a serial number so finding a date was easy, the Rigid not so much. The Puma does have some minor use marks on the blade(looks worse on the photos than to the human eye), but it has never been sharpened, and the sheath is in great shape, especially for 45 years old. The Rigid is like new. If anyone has any info on these knives, I would like to know, especially when Puma started making the 6383 Buddy, and anything on the Rigid. The Rigid must be from the late 70's to mid 80's as a guess. My father died in 2/93, and would have aquired the knife way before that due to illness. Thanks.
