Need info on the Brinkmann Rebel

[Diamond Cut II]

I just bought this light from the local wal-mart for about 16 bucks. It's bright but not that smooth. It comes with a pretty cool lanyard and a couple of filter lenses: Red, Amber, and Blue. It does not say how long the batteries will last or how much it can be exposed to water. Does anyone have this information? Thanks in advance.

DC2, I've had my Rebel for a few months now and I haven't had to change the AA batteries yet. I carry it in my work bag daily and only use it occasionally, but it hasn't let me down. As far as how weatherproof it is, I'm a truck driver and haven't experienced any problems when I've had to use it in rainy weather.

I would prefer aluminum casing on this light, but for the price the Rebel can't be beat.
