Searching for any info on a Uncle Henry LB7 I recently purchased at a flea market.
The knife is unused, with original leather holster and instructional paper work, no box. It has a serial number of AW44XXX. Also, has what appears to be a company logo on the bolster. The logo looks like this ___N on a metal oval soldered/glued to the bolster.
I would appreciate hearing from anyone with any info about this knife. Age, date of manufacture, id the logo. etc.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum, lkozark! Thanks for bringing us your knife and your question. LB7 ('Bear Paw') knives were made by Schrade 1979 all the way till the bitter end, I think. The box would help us narrow it down, but we dont have that. I do know this: Four pins were used in the handles when the knife was first brought out, but in the late 80s, it was changed to three pins.

Can any of you other guys help out? Also, we have another thread going on the LB's:

As for the name of the company, well... time for us to think about all the Advertising/commemorative/complimentary Schrades we have seen.

By the way... I notice a newbi here in the forum listing the Schrade LB7 as his favorite knife. Jump right on in, Pal. New members always welcome

Phil
