I have a Delica I picked up on eBay. It has foliage green G-10 scales and a serrated blade. The box says it is model C113FG. Why can't I find this model number online anywhere? The Spyderco website says the foliage green G-10 only came in a plain edge. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

If it is indeed G-10 then you are the owner of a franken-delica.

As you noted the G-10 delica only comes FFG in plain edge.

It's possible, but how do you explain the box that clearly states "C113FG Delica" on it. I thought the C113 was a Caly 3. ?????

Here's a picture of my box (top box with yellow label).

I'm going to take a really close look at this box when I get home today. Maybe it says C11SFG. This would make it a Delica with Foliage Green FRN handle. ....... I'll be back tonight.... :D

The label in fact should read "C11G(P)FG".

C11 = Delica
G = G10
P = Plain
FG = Foliage Green

I own one of these - actually one of the C10GPFG ;) I'll check the box as soon as I get home friday).

It seems maybe something happened to the "G" on the label of your box that lets it look like a "3".

Looks like the "3" is actually a smudged "S". The C11SFG was manufactured from 2007-2009 (according to spydiewiki). The spyderco website doesn't always have all the variations listed, which may be why you don't see it on there. If you go the the spydiewiki Delica page and scroll down to the "Variations of the Delica 4" table, it is the 6th one listed there.

edit: I see, that's the FRN version listed on spyderwiki. Looks like you may have gotten a Frankenspyder!
