Need information on best place to sell this knife

Hi all -

I have been tasked to sell this knife for a family friend that bought this directly from the Buck factory in 2002.

It is really hard finding much information about these knives and he claims to have paid $5000 for it????

Any information would be greatly appreciated...

It's nice to know the rules of places you appear.

Your free membership allows neither selling nor asking for appraisals.

Have you tried eBay for prior sales?
 
I was going to try ebay or maybe gunbroker but thought someone on here may know a better alternative.

If I pay for a membership can I list it on this site?

Gold membership will allow an individual to sell personal knives .If you are a knife dealer you must purchase a dealer membership.
 
Too bad the picture was deleted I'm just curious what it was.
 
Lets get this completely cleared up.

NO you may not sell anything here on this forum, (the Buck Forum)whatever your level of membership. You MAY sell with the minimum of a gold membership on the general knife sale forum or on the forum that is on a line above this forum area, listed as a sub-forum and called The Buck Knives for Sale area. There are rules for that sale forum also, please read them before posting any sale offer or request for a estimate.

Continue to read the general forum rules and follow them and you will be a welcomed member. Run amuck and you will be run over by the moderator truck.
