Does anyone have the dates and way the Schrade Co. did their numbering of the knives. I have several LB7's which have different serial numbers and was wondering if these could be date specific in the manufacturing process. They are K3976, U2151, and AW20136. In looking at them there are some differences in the handle and the blade.
I also have from my father a Presto switch blade by GEO. SCHRADE BRIDGEPORT CONN. and would appreciate any information about it also. It is metal handled and painted black. The GEO part is on one side of the blade and the other has Presto Made USA on the other.

There is a LOT of information on the LB7 in this thread. On one of his very informative posts, Codger64 gives some dates associated with serial numbers. There are also a lot of pics of beautiful LB7s in it.

There are others (almost all, actually), who are far more kowledgeable than I am and will most likely post when they get the chance, but this should give you a start.
