Need Input regarding exchange rules

It is an issue that I have noticed. Items that are posted on a Fri. morning are often dropped back to the 2nd page by early afternoon, and most who browse as potential buyers never seem to look further than the middle of the 1st page.
On the other hand, an item posted on Mon. morning may stay on the 1st page for several days. The weekend "feeding frenzy" has become something you have to work around if you want to sell knives on this forum.
Consolidating several items into one post would be one way to address this. I understand that this forum is a vital sales tool for a lot of full time makers but having half the 1st page taken up by 1 or 2 makers is frustrating and really hurts the odds of guys who only lists 1 or 2 knives a week, to get his share of exposure.

hey Justin thanks for the post. I think maybe it is a few individuals that are lacking a bit of consideration for others in the BF Community! I agree with you there are probably better time to post, but the reason stuff sits on Mon. is because there isn't much traffic, which means not a lot of sales

Glad you brought this up, RyanW. It's been bothering me for awhile. Need to get some teeth behind the consolidation rule.

I have been frustrated with the same issue lately Ryan, I don't post knives very often, maybe once a week. but lately it seems one individual in particular has been WAY overposting, up to 15 or so posts in a row. It seems excessive and not very courteous to other makers who might really on BF as a real source of income.
IMHO.

So I don't look at the exchange very often (as I have no money, and don't want to be tempted into something that'll mean ramen noodles for a month), but just went in to have a look at what you all were talking about. Haha, yeah, someone (or some people) probably need to just buy their own subforum, and there really should be some sort of post per day (or week) limit.
