I am seriously contemplating making a short sword or two and could use some inspiration for a design.
My interests tend to be toward a combination of a Chinese War sword crossed with a Scimitar in about a 20" blade or so. I like the curved blade's that look really aggressive.
I also really like fantasy swords. I am not interested in making a replica piece. I prefer my own design, with input from those who know more about swords than I do!
This will be a fully functional sword made from either 5160 or some type of SS steel, professionally heat treated and ready to Rock N Roll.
Can someone point me to some websites with alot of pics? Maybe a design you are kicking around!
