I was just reading through all the 110 posts. I really like all my 110's, but the few 111's I have, are great creations. The bolsters on the new ones just flow. You just can't beat the old 3 dot "Classic". I'd really dig on a "Custom" or a BCCI knife with the engraved aluminum handles and the S30V blade with the old Classic sheath.

Scott, nice knives. Is that the 2004 BCCI knife, fifth one down? What is the history and timeline for the Classic? I have seen a few here and there, have a couple smaller ones, 521 and 525 I think. They don't turn my crank...just inquiring minds want to know. Thanks, Preston

How does the 111 differ from the 110? Bolster shape? Size?

Anyone? Anyone?

The top 3 knives are 111's releases in the past couple of years, top is a limited edition of 250 with elk antler scales & filework, then the 111 with ironwood scales of 1000 pcs, then the Idaho laser cut out from SMKW of 2005 pcs, the bolsters are the only real difference from a 110. 4th down is the S30v 110 Alaskan guide from Cabelas, 5th is the 110 BCCI fund raiser from last year with the N/S bolsters, honey worm groove bone handles and S30V blade, last knife is the 1980 111 Classic.
