I need a bunch of cord locks for lashing. I bought a ton of different kind cord locks and none of them stay tight and secure like the ones that came from ESEE, figures right. I want the exact ones that come with their blades, can anyone help me out? Thanks guys. KNIFEABILITY-a must for all humans

i actually found that the locks i got from ESEE kinda blew. they didn't hold that tight. ended up getting a few from REI and using those instead. much better.

I got ones from REI too and they slipped all around. My ESEE cord locks don't budge at all. I was comparing all my cord locks side by side and inside the ESEE ones their is a little cord biter that pinches the cord tight and the spring is thicker as well. I would just like to know if ESEE sells them or where they get them. I really like the ones that come with their blades, exactly those ones.

this was old info last year I think from Shon ,
Just a quick note everyone. If you are thinking your cord lock is broken its not. There is a mechanism inside the lock that keeps it from holding the cord tight until it is depressed once. In other words slide the two ends of the cord through the lock, depress the lock firmly, you will hear a click, release and all will be forever fine. The locks are made this way to aid in assembly in a manufacturing environment. Sorry for the confusion everyone we should have "clicked" them before packaging. All future orders will come "Pre-Clicked" We hope you all enjoy the Knives.
