Hello, this is my first time posting here. However, I need help gathering more info on this knife. The markings on it include Solingen Germany and 5318 below that, with the name SCHMIDT on the other side. There is an inscription on the pommel, however its so worn that it is not legible to he naked eye. The sheath is marked A. Wingen JR, Solingen Germany. On the back, there is a large, barely visible ink marking that just states "4069/11". I am fairly certain it is old as the fitting holding the latch to the sheath is hammered copper. I Have found several of these on ebay over the years for $50 or so, however, there is little information that I have found on them. I was just wondering if anyone here could give me at least a little information regarding the years produced.
I can take more pictures later, however, this is the only one I have for it at the moment.
