I just wanted to ask you folks to pray for my family. This past Sunday my wife's 47 yr old uncle died in a car accident; we were quite close to him and it has been tough. My wife's father died last February after a 6 month fight with cancer, and a year before that her 38 year old brother died also from cancer. We've lost two grandparents in the last 2 years, and almost lost my sister to a freak infection that was compounded by a terrible reaction to the antibiotics they gave her (spent a month in the hospital). Man, we've had just about all we can take. I praise God for all our blessings, but we really need a turn of events.

Thanks guys, we appreciate the support. This really is a special place with special people.

Tommorow it's off to Shingle Springs for services and probably a bit o the Irish wake methinks.

Stevo- is Shingle Springs on Hwy 50 past Placerville another 5-15 miles north toward Echo summit on the way to Tahoe? I grew up in Al Tahoe before Stateline, Bijou, Al Tahoe, and the Y got lumped into South Lake Tahoe. Or am I thinking of another place like Pollack Pines?

Sending smoke now. Maybe tomorrow I'll find a place out in the front yard to light off these 1/4" thick by 18" long industrial strength sticks of incense. We tried them a few time over the summer and we ended up opening the windows and doors before it was half burnt.

Rusty, you almost got it. Shingle Springs is about 10 miles below (southwest of)Placerville on 50. Wifes grandma/aunt/cousins live in the country, closest town would be Garden Valley.

God Bless To All,
Steve

virtual smoke going up here in coffeetown. Hang tight, Stevo. We're thinking of you and your wife.
