Need Norwegian/Swedish/Finish blade experts for Knife ID... an early Stavanger Staal?

Long shot, but can anybody confirm my thoughts on this? Early on, I believe in the 50's, a "peasant smith" named Tønnes G. Kverneland made knives for Stavanger Staal. Some of those SS blades were marked "TGK". Tønnes had a son named Trygve who also made (makes?) knives. This knife appears to be marked "Trygve"... Is this a Stavanger Staal? A stand-alone made by Trygve Kverneland? Something else entirely?

What ? Stavanger is the name of a Norwegian town located on the Stavangerfjord !! A notable ship built in the 1930s had the name Stavangerfjord as a more modern ship .
Find the fjord , follow it to Stavanger and start your search there. If you don't find the answers at least you'll have a beautiful voyage !!

One point about Norway. They have more knifemakers per capita than any other country. The difference is most of them buy their blades from custom makers and then add the handle and sheath. I have a knife with what looks like the same basic blade but different marks I bought a the Norwegian knifemaker's show in Elverum a few years ago.

Hey John, much appreciated! Didn't get an email though... I think they may have recently changed the email settings here on BF, and now you have to have a paid membership to send emails. At least I know that my ability to send emails just quit nearly a month back, and when I bought a paid membership it worked again...

Re another knife from another forum:
The knife is stamped "Trygve Kverneland, Rust-free" .......................
Therefore, the surprise was great when I after a round of googling learned that Trygve let down his Kverneland knife production in the 1950s, and that he was one of the first in this country to use stainless steel in the blades. The steel is produced at Stavanger Staal, who has produced stainless steel since 1916, and was one of the foremost in the world at the time (they actually exported steel to Sheffield in England)."

In 1930 Tønnes ' son Trygve Kverneland (1905-1984) founded his own company-t. Kverneland-to produce the scythes, knives and scissors. Later took over the farm machinery here too. Today [the] company [is known s] TKS.
