Hey everyone. This is actually my first post on the cold steel sub forum. Looking for opinions on the cold steel master hunter. I originally posted a thread over in the outdoor forum looking for suggestions on a smaller fixed blade that is fairly light weight to take on day hikes. Looking for something slightly larger than my esee izula. I usually carry a folder also. Is the master hunter a decent bushcraft knife? Or is it meant to be more of a skinning knife? Any thoughts are welcome. Thanks!

I'm quite happy with my 3V Master Hunter. Does very well working with wood, very thin grind so it can bite very deep and easily.

I'm a Master Hunter fan as well. I have each of the 4 steels it's been offered in and I love them all.

It is a great knife. You should also look at the Pendleton or Mini Pendleton (get the larger handle on this one), which also will be released in 3V soon.
