Yea, sounds a lil odd huh? Well to make a long story short my wifes friend broke her fossil watch I got her for our first wedding anniversary a few years ago... I recently ran across this broken beauty during our recent move to our new home.
Our anniversary is coming up and I'd love to find someone who can somehow rig up an orange Paracord band for it...?? Anybody down? I'm not asking for anything for free, I'll pay someone for their time. I'll post a couple pics in the next post... Hoping my brothers come to my aid! Thanks!

You gave your wifes friend a watch for your own wedding anniversary? A little odd you think? I kid :p, grammar is confusing sometimes. And as for the watch, the only way I can see it being fixed without heavy modification is by finding a way to pin some cobra weave unto the watch, which is really tricky

Yea I agree, it's gonna be a lil tricky no doubt but I'm hoping someone might have ran into this before and solved the riddle...?

I know this is not quite what you're asking; but if this is for your wife, wouldn't it be really neat if you could say that you made it yourself? There are some good tutorials on line:

https://www.google.com/search?hl=en.....1ac.1.34.heirloom-hp..0.11.2075.NLIMHQG6itw

That last one is a google search....there are some You Tube vids, as well. And, if need be, there are a few places in the google search where you can order them...two of the three I've dealt with before; and they are good folks.

If you decide to do your own, it looks like you may have a problem with thickness, given where it looks like your band attachment bar is. Paracord with the guts removed will slip through a tight watch attachment bar; of course, your overall band will be thinner.

I've done bracelets....never a watch band; but it's definitely something you can do if you want to give it a try...and I bet your wife would love that you made it!

OK, I think I may have a suggestion. The Suunto Core watch has a similar issue with it's attachment points; but someone created a solution. Google "Suunto Core paracord connector adaptors". Check out, I think, the third hit down, so you can see pics of the adaptor and its use with a paracord band. Not sure of the measurements involved, as to whether it would be usable on any watch with your watch's configuration; however, the companies that use that adaptor....perhaps one of them also does custom work, and could fit it to your watch. The only drawback is that the adaptor itself wouldn't come in orange; but a little black with orange might look sharp (it would match a black Fastex buckle). Give one of those guys a call.

Good luck!

Some orange kydex as close to the same thickness as the broken scale on the band, cut to shape then use a dremel to file/cut to create the connectors, attach a sewing needle to a soldering iron and push the needle though for the pin hole.

At least thats what I would TRY to do...
My ideas work about 50% of the time... and the other 50% of the time... I dont talk about.;)
