Need part for Marbles 2 1/2 Safety Hatchet

I've got a Marbles #2 1/2 Safety Folding Ax that is missing the little folding nail puller which is what makes them different from the #2. All that's there is the hole. I got repro grips from a guy in Michigan who restores Marble's hatchets and he didn't know of a source for the puller. I'm sure a decent sheet metal guy could bend one up but there's got to be someone out there who is already making them. Any suggestions????
