I've seen a few slippies that are a two blade trapper or are very similar to a trapper but the spey blade is squared off. Kinda blunt and straight razor shaped. I think I would like this pattern as I always carry trappers and it wouldn't put me too far out of my comfort zone. If anyone could help me with the pattern name, makers and if this is something I would be able to get in carbon steel. If someone has experience with this pattern, good or bad, I would like to have that also.
Thanks in advance
Ben

The only things I've seen that were close to that are a razorjack, Case Razor barlow and some cheapies. Given time, I could dig some out of my accumulation. Fair warning, unless you carry it in a belt pouch or leather slip, that square corner on the razor blade will chew through your pocket pretty fast.

The razor jack, or razor trapper is a cool pattern, but like Jack says, not the most pocketable. I have a few.

The top ones are a Case in red stag, plus two Japanese made ones. The bottom three are Rough Riders.

The single blade versions I have seen have been referred to as one armed jacks, with that type of spey blade. As others have said, I've only seen this pattern brought back by companies like Frost. Case and others used to make this pattern, I have never seen vintage models at junk shops.

Thanks for the input fellas. Jack, your comment about the squared corner chewing through a pocket has put me off this knife. I pocket carry my slip joints. I really appreciate the honest answer. I guess I'll stick to the plain old trapper.
